► Implement financial planning, analysis, and budgeting policies and procedures to ensure application of internal control within the department.
► Provide financial analysis and planning assistance to the strategic and business development functions and develop all types of short and long term financial projections / forecasts / plans in accordance with the department’s strategies and overall objectives and directions.
► Supervise the preparation of feasibility studies, financial due diligence, financial modeling & valuations, financial projections, and other type of financial analysis to support decisions related to acquisitions, divestures, projects development, and joint ventures.
► Identify and manage financial risks (e.g. interest rate and exchange rate risks) that can affect operations.
► Supervise the development of financial models that serve to support the financial planning process.
► Coordinate and oversee the budgeting process at, and assist departments Directors in the preparation of their assumptions and budgets.
► Set the provisional timetable to be followed for the budget process (approved by the Board of Directors).
► Supervise the design and preparation of the budget forms, models and templates to be used by departments Directors in the budgeting process to enhance the budget techniques and procedures.
► Supervise the preparation of the consolidated annual master budget for including capital expenditure, operating expenditure, and manpower planning budgets.
► Supervise the compilation, review and preparation of the budgeted financial statements (income statement and balance sheet).
► Monitor effective implementation of and compliance to the approved budget (tracking, variance analysis, reporting, etc…).
► Present the monthly performance management reports to the Director of Finance and report on any areas that require attention.
► Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Director of Finance.
Qualification:
A minimum of:
► Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
► Supervisory-level experience is required (2+ year).
► Experience within the Real Estate industry is preferred.
► Professional certificate CFA is preferred.
► Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
